1. While out for a drive on some backroads, we came across a field of ponies, and stopped to have a closer look.
2. They walked over cautiouly, and ate grass out of Tansy's hand. When a loud passing car scared them away, Tansy cried inconsolably. (She still loves horses).
3. Another of Tansy's sophisticated looks: leopard print, hair done up like ears, and whiskers drawn on cheeks. (She's carrying a drumstick not a lollipop).
4. Inspired by the previous Halloween's lion suit, made by Grandma, Morro learned to sew. Here is the first fitting of this year's costume.
8. 'This one's clean!'
7. Inspecting her work.
6. Helping in the kitchen.
5. Elephants! Two of them!
9. 'Roo' and 'Dada' taking it easy.
10. Just relaxing together.
11. This year's birthday included many celebratory activities. Here we are at Lark Toys.
As you can see from the dress, Morro did indeed teach herself how to sew. She learns very quickly! (The following summer that dress won a ribbon at the county fair).
12. Here's Tansy at the library.
16. Time flies. She certainly isn't a baby anymore.
15. Relaxed and casual.
14. Another day, another box.
13. And here are Morro and Tansy at the birthday party.
